Day Two
While it isn't my favorite way to work out, my primary activity the next month will be riding my bike on a trainer in the garage. The short daylight hours and the typically wet climate makes it a lot more difficult to safely hit the pavement so to speak. On the positive side, I will be able to focus on maintaining a consistant cadence which is something I always struggle with when I am on the road.
Yesterday, I spent 25 minutes on the bike. The first five to ten minutes are always the toughest. After that I seem to get a rhythm and the rest of the time flies by.
My wife went on a nice hour long walk with the kids. She put them both in the Chariot and off she went. The Chariot is a great multi-functional piece of equipment. We use it as a stroller/jogger as well as a bike carrier. They sell an additional attachment for nordic skiing, but we haven't been that brave, yet.
